Privacy, kept short.
We collect as little as we can and tell you exactly what we do with it. No dark patterns, no 40-page cookie banners.
01Who we are
Living the Board Life (“we”) operates livingtheboardlife.com. For GDPR purposes we are the data controller for any personal information processed via the site.
02What we collect
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we store: your email address, the date of signup, and the page/article you subscribed from (for our own analytics). Nothing else.
Contact form
If you write to us, we store your name, email and message until we've finished the conversation, then we keep the thread for six months for context before deleting it.
Analytics
We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible) that measures page views without cookies and without storing any personal identifier. IP addresses are hashed and truncated.
Affiliate tracking
When you click an outbound retailer link, the retailer sets its own cookie to attribute a possible sale to us. We have no access to your identity on their site. See their privacy policies for detail.
03What we don't collect
- We don't use third-party advertising trackers or ad networks.
- We don't sell or share your data with anyone.
- We don't use cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.
- We don't run Facebook/TikTok/Google-Ads pixels.
04Your rights
Under GDPR (and similar frameworks), you can request:
- A copy of any personal data we hold about you.
- Correction of anything inaccurate.
- Deletion — and we'll confirm in writing within 30 days.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time.
Email us at privacy@livingtheboardlife.com and we'll handle it.
05Where we store it
Subscriber data and form submissions are stored on EU-based servers (Supabase, Frankfurt region). Email sending uses Resend, which processes recipient emails in transit.
06Changes to this policy
We may update this page as we add features. The last-updated date at the top always reflects the most recent change. Material changes (new data we collect, new processors) we'll announce in the newsletter before they take effect.
